A few things need to happen before Automatic Smart Charging begins on your EV:
- Your electricity provider must confirm your application, deeming your device “enrolled”. This can take up to a few days. Upon enrollment, they will also share with us your rate code. This ensures we are optimizing around the correct charging times.
- In the meantime, ensure you’ve charged on your own at least once for at least 60 minutes so we can determine your charging power
- Once the above has been achieved, remove any timers or schedules that you may have set yourself. WeaveGrid will take control and handle scheduling.
- Automatic charging will begin upon plug in and we'll notify you by text or by the app when a scheduled charge has been set.
